TEXT (UNOFFICIAL TRANSLATION)

The Rules regulate:

vegetable species to which the Rules apply;

requirements and conditions to be satisfied by vegetable propagating and planting material, other than seed;

obligations of supplier;

the content of the application form for the issue of permits for issuing labels and certificates of supplier;

the content of the label and certificate issued by supplier;

the procedure for supervision and monitoring of suppliers and vegetable propagating and planting material, other than seed.

The Rules reflect the content of the following provisions:

Council Directive 92/33/EEC of 28 April 1992 on the marketing of vegetable propagating material, other than seed (OJ L No 157 of 10. 6. 1992, p. 1), as last amended by Council Directive 2006/124/EC;

Commission Directive 93/61/EEC of 2 July 1993 setting out the schedules indicating the conditions to be met by vegetable propagating and planting material, other than seed pursuant to Council Directive 92/33/EEC (OJ L No 250 of 7. 10. 1993, p. 19);

Commission Directive 93/62/EEC of 5 July 1993 setting out the implementing measures concerning the supervision and monitoring of suppliers and establishments pursuant to Council Directive 92/33/EEC on the marketing of vegetable propagating and planting material, other than seed (OJ L No 250 of 7. 10. 1993, p. 29).

With the date of entry into force of these Rules the following Rules ceased to be valid:

Rules on the marketing of vegetable propagating and planting material, other than seed, OJ RS, No 91/03 and 38/04 (Entry into force: 1 December 2003).
