Slovene regulations governing seeds and propagating material

Rules concerning the quantities of agricultural seeds and propagating material and application form for the issue of trading permits and/or of special import licences (OJ RS, No 102/05)

FORMS

The Rules regulate:

the maximum quantity of seeds and propagating material which may be marketed to a final consumer, if such material does not comply with all the requirements as regards homogeneity of a lot, packing, sealing and marking;

the maximum quantity of agricultural seeds and propagating material considered to be a sample for official examination or for inspection supervision;

the maximum quantity of agricultural seeds and propagating material which may be marketed for scientific and research purposes, for test and trial purposes, for selection work or for conserving genetic diversity;

the maximum quantity of agricultural seeds and propagating material which may be imported at each crossing of border for personal use (without inspection);

the application form for the issue of trading permits for the seeds and propagating material of a variety which is in the procedure for acceptance in the national variety list;

the application form for the issue of special import licences to permit import of seeds and propagating material of a variety not entered in the national variety list.

With the date of entry into force of these Rules the following Rules ceased to be valid:

Rules on species of agricultural plants, quantities of agricultural seed and propagating material and form of application for the authorisation of marketing or for the issue of special import permit (OJ RS, No 92/02)
