Slovene regulations governing seeds and propagating material 

Rules on the procedure for granting plant breeders' rights (OJ RS, No 85/1999)

The Rules regulate:

• the form and the content of the application for acceptance of a variety in the national variety list and evidences to be attached to the application;

• conditions for the registration of a new variety and of a related plant species;

• the content and the manner of keeping of the register of applications for the protection of a variety and of the register of protected varieties;

• the form and the content of a certificate of acquiring breeding right for the protection of varieties;

• official journal for publications concerning the protection of new varieties of plants.
