Slovene regulations governing seeds and propagating material

Rules on the marketing of fruit plant propagating material and fruit plants intended for fruit production (OJ RS, No 17/06)

(Entry into force: 25 February 2006)

TEXT (UNOFFICIAL TRANSLATION)

The Rules regulate:

species of agricultural plants to which the Rules apply;

categories of propagating material and fruit plants;

requirements for suppliers;

requirements for CAC material;

requirements for official certification of propagating material and fruit plants and the procedure for official certification;

the content of the form for annual notification, and labels and certificates of supplier;

the content of the application form for official certification, and the colour, the form and the content of official label.

The Rules reflect the content of the following provisions:

Council Direrective 92/34/EEC of 28 April 1992 on the marketing of fruit plant propagating material and fruit plants intended for fruit production as last amended by Commission Decision 2005/55/EC;

Commission Directive 93/48/EEC of 23 June 1993 setting out the schedule indicating the conditions to be met by fruit plant propagating material and fruit plants intended for fruit production, pursuant to Council Directive 92/34/EEC;

Commission Directive 93/64/EEC of 5 July 1993 setting out the implementing measures concerning the supervision and monitoring of suppliers and establishments pursuant to Council Directive 92/34/EEC on the marketing of fruit plant propagating material and fruit plants intended for fruit production;

Commission Directive 93/79/EEC of 21 September 1993 setting out additional implementing provisions for lists of varieties of fruit plant propagating material and fruit plants, as kept by suppliers under Council Directive 92/34/EEC.

With the date of entry into force of these Rules the following Rules ceased to be valid:
