PEST SURVEILLANCE

Pest surveillance is carried out by the Phytosanitary Administration with the assistance of authorised institutions and phytosanitary inspection within the entire territory of the Republic of Slovenia, in respect of agricultural, forestry and other wild plants pursuant to the ISPM 8 international standard (Determination of pest status in an area).

• Over-population of gypsy moth (Lymantria dispar) in Vipava valley and on Karst

• Migratory species of moths Noctua comes and Noctua fimbriata and damage in permanent crops
