Potato
spindle tuber viroid - PSTVd is a harmful organism from List
I.A.I
of Directive 2000/29/EC, meaning that up to now its occurrence in
the European Union has not been known. However, based on the
notification by the Dutch plant protection service it was found on 27
October 2006 on an ornamental plant
Brugmansia (Datura) suavolens,
which originated in a Dutch nursery.
In order to prevent spread of the organism in the
Republic of Slovenia, we kindly ask you to inform the Phytosanitary
Administration RS whether in 2006 you bought any of the listed
ornamental plants. We expect your notifications on tel. no. 01 3094 379
